Magic Officially Sign Slam Dunk Champ Mac McClung
William Bretzger/Delaware News Journal / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Magic have officially signed guard Mac McClung, president of basketball operations Jeff Weltman announced in a press release.

While terms weren’t revealed, the deal is an Exhibit 10 training camp contract, per Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel.

McClung, 24, is 6-foot-2 and the reigning Slam Dunk Contest champion, winning as an eligible player from the G League. Following the victory, he signed a two-way contract with the 76ers (Feb. 14), appearing in two games.

He spent most of last season with the Delaware Blue Coats of the G League, averaging 19.8 points and 5.0 assists in 31 games. He has also served brief stints with the Bulls and Lakers.

Prior to last season, he signed with both the Warriors and 76ers, but was waived before the end of training camp both times.

Other guards on the Magic roster include Markelle Fultz, Gary Harris, Cole Anthony and rookie Anthony Black.

An Exhibit 10 contract counts toward the preseason roster of 21, but not toward the regular-season roster unless the player is signed to a standard deal.
